Theodora Barda was always passionate about art. She studied Conservation of Arts and later Children’s Book Illustrations. She begun painting in 2000 and took part in many exhibitions . She has sold many paintings, in all over the world since then.

She got awarded with Donatello International Prize in Florence , Italy, in 2023 and got featured in Contemporary Art Masters book and magazine.

One of her paintings made it to the 20 semi finalists among 400 participants from all over the world at Artbox , Zurich in 2024.

She is known for her semi abstract portraits with the soulful eyes and her dreamy abstract paintings that are composed by multiple translucent and opaque layers. This technique creates a visual depth in the painting that invites the viewer to surrender in this unique experience.

She is married with two children. She lives and works in Greece.
